Sheer Skin – Super Hydra Aloe Vera Gel Review by ilovemakeup68

It’s another skin care review today…

 

This item was sent to me by cosmetic-love for review. Before I go on with the review, I just wanna let you know that I already tested out the product for two weeks now and my reviews are all 100% honest opinions.^^

 

 

 

 

 

 

The product comes in this large bottle. It’s quite big and it contains 150ml of aloe vera gel. The bottle is made of plastic but it’s not flimsy. Not quite of a travel friendly item but for the amount of product you get!??! it’s worth the purchase!

 

 

 

How I use the product:
After cleansing my face, i get an ample amount and massage it on my face. Since it is suitable for dry skin, I like to add a bit more in areas I feel dry and needs more moisture.

Consistency:
It has a clear gel-like texture.  Not sticky like the aloe vera plant! ^^

It goes on smoothly and sinks in to the skin after a while.

Scent:
If you don’t like products with fragrance then this is not for you. The last ingredient for this product is fragrance. Actually I like the smell of it even though it’s made of aloe vera. I’m really not that good in describing the scent but it does smell good!

• Gel like texture but not sticky. Thumbs up! My #1 must for a moisturizer / lotion.
• Smells good. I like the scent of it.
• Feels refreshing on skin. 
• One bottle contains a lot of product.
• A little goes a long way.
• It’s multi – tasking. So, if it doesn’t work well as a face moisturizer, used it in other areas.^^

• It’s not that moisturizing for me. It can’t help my dry (overly dry) skin..
• It’s not readily available in my area. You need to purchase it online (cosmetic-love.com)

Actually it’s still not enough for my dry skin. If you have read my acne story, you probably know that I do have dry sensitive skin. Even during summer, my skin is still dry and sometimes flaking. What more in winter right? Right now it’s getting colder and colder and my skin is getting drier, tighter and it’s starting to feel uncomfortable. I used this product as a moisturizer but it’s really not that hydrating and I can totally say it’s not enough for me. Sorry sheerskin! I really like the product but I guess I’ll be using it for my body and not for the face.
